Video Interview with Johny Chow (Stone Sour)

We caught up with Johny Chow, bassist of the American Alt-Metal band, Stone Sour, while recording in LA, California. Johny Chow is Warwick Artist / Endorser and a member of Stone Sour since 2012. He is also a touring member of Cavalera Conspiracy, the band formed by Max and Iggor Cavalera. During the January 2017 Winter NAMM show, a Warwick camera team made a trip to the Sphere Studios in Los Angeles, where Stone Sour and Johny Chow are currently recording their new album 'Hydrograd’.

Between the recording sessions, Johny introduced us to his Warwick arsenal consisting of a Warwick Custom Shop Masterbuilt Streamer Stage II and a Warwick Pro Series Teambuilt Streamer Stage II. Johny also shares a Warwick Custom Shop Masterbuilt Thumb BO 5 string which was made for the Sphere Studios owner. In addition, Johny describes his amp setup and the effect pedals used, and enthusiasm for gourmet burgers and choice beverage to go with it.
