TopStudio: Everything about guitar synthesizers

There is a saying “give them a finger, and they’ll take the whole hand…” which seems to perfectly sum up the ambitions of guitar players who cannot settle on the fact that they usually already are the most visible members of their bands – no, they want more! Electronic gadgets, walls of amps, adding more strings or even an extra neck, all to be more noticed…

Despite having their golden era between the 70s and 80s, guitar players still searched for new ways of expression and new sounds, more suitable for modern music. After some time, they begun to envy the keyboard players who kept on bringing electronic novelties to rehearsals due to rapid development of technology. Maybe equipment manufacturers spotted that or maybe guitar synthesizers emerged as a result of individual experiments lead by some engineer who was bored with the same old guitar tones? What came in result? Go find out by reading the article in the September edition of TopGuitar magazine – in the TopStudio section specially created for recording musicians and people interested in home studios.
