Framus and Warwick Artists at the Grammys
The most important awards in the music industry, the Grammys, were awarded on 25 January 2014 in Los Angeles. We are very pleased that Warwick Artists at this event had massive share in the festivities. Kevin „Brandino” Brandon played his Thumb SC on the latest CD by Justin Timberlake. The song „Pusher Love Girl” won in the category „Best R&B Song.”
The „Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media” was „Sound City: Reel to Real” featuring Scott Reeder, who formerly played in Kyuss and currently jamming with the up-and-coming „Sun & Sail Club”. The Warwick Family congratulates the winners!
Also in the framework program of the event, there were instruments from the Vogtland/Saxony (Germany) area to see and hear of course. Robert Trujillo playing his Warwick signature bass during the performance of Metallica with pianist Lang Lang. Lee Sklar and his Star Bass provided the foundation for the country legends Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, during a set with Metallica during the show, and a wonderful performance by Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard and Blake Shelton. Finally, Jason Scheff played his Streamer with Chicago alongside Robin Thicke.
