Charvel Desolation DS-1 FR marked „Top Gear”

TopGuitar is proud to announce, that the Desolation DS-1 FR electric guitar from Charvel had been reviewed for the June issue of the magazine and received a “Top Gear” editors’ award this month.

Below are some excerpts from a successful review by gear department editor Krzysztof Blas, which may serve as reasons for the award:

“The instrument is well balanced and despite its mahogany construction, it retains an acceptable weight level. As expected, the DS-1 FR has an impressive sustain but also an even string to string sound.”

 “Despite a quite classic body shape, the Charvel DS-1 has a very thin, fast neck and a great tremolo system. String action can be set very low which enables lightning fast shredding.”

 “It’s a well-thought and well-built guitar that’s definitely intended for hard rock and metal musicians. Taking into account the instrument’s capabilities and overall construction, you can easily come to a conclusion that it’s price should be considered at least a bargain.”
