The Gibson 1958 Flying V and Explorer project took three years to develop through the magic and artistry of the Gibson Custom Shop team. The vintage features of these Flying V and Explorer are made of Korina wood. By using the 3-D scanning technology of multiple Flying V and Explorers manufactured in 1958, Gibson Custom Shop provides the most authentic and identical clones humans can possibly make.
