Peavey MiniMax bass amplifier reviewed by TopGuitar magazine
TopGuitar is proud to inform, that the June issue of the magazine features a review of Peavey MiniMax bass amplifier. The equipment was delivered for review by Peavey distributor in Poland, Lauda Audio.
Below are some excerpts from a review by gear department editor Maciek Warda:
“Peavey MiniMax boasts 500 W RMS and 1000 W peak power. It means that it has enough reserve (headroom) to let you play loud without worrying about unwanted distortion at high signal levels.”
“You get the feeling of omnipresent bass surrounding you – not many acoustic impressions can compete with this beautiful, highly suggestive effect. It is exceptionally attractive with slapping, as your tone becomes deeper and more dynamic. It’s a real bass tsunami that, with the help of a proper cab, blows all dust off the stage.”
“The phenomenon that is Peavey MiniMax can be characterized by the words “punch amp”. I have never before heard a bass amp that is so focused on attack.”
