TopGuitar is proud to inform, that the December issue of the magazine features a review of the AFB200 SRD electric bass guitar from Ibanez. Below are some excerpts from a review by gear department editor Maciek Warda:

“The AFB200 was designed for electric bass players who like the comfort of a solid body instrument, but also want to get a more acoustic sound which will not dominate the whole mix with its power and density, but rather add something intangible to it. Maybe a hint of past decades’ music, maybe some breath or some swing vibe…”

“AFB200 is a middle price range instrument for intermediate musicians that want to enjoy semi-acoustic tone and playing comfort. A perfect match for acoustic bands and traditional piano-bass-drums setups. It will easily cover all old school styles like neo-soul, gospel or blues as well.”

“A shorter scale does not mean loosing depth or low end. There is plenty of those frequencies here and you can be sure that low range will be properly represented.”
