ESP E-II Mystique QM NT – electric guitar review with “Top Gear” award

TopGuitar is proud to announce that the ESP E-II Mystique QM NT electric guitar was reviewed in the May issue of the magazine and received a “Top Gear” editors’ award this month. The instrument was delivered for review by ESP distributor in Poland, Sound Service.

Below are some excerpts from a successful review by gear department editor Mikolaj Sluzewski, which may serve as reasons for the award:

“With main guitar market trends remaining fairly unchanged over the years, this model is a praiseworthy example of stepping slightly off the beaten path and a successful attempt at offering guitar players an instrument as classic as it is original.”

“The Mystique works perfectly with a mild overdrive. By turning the guitar’s volume knob down a bit, you can create some thoroughbred rock tones in the vein of Santana and southern rock. Despite a hint of vintage taste, the signal is tight and selective, remaining under control even with heavier distortion.”

“ESP E-II Mystique QM NT is definitely a great option for traditionalists who value naturalness, tube amps and crafting their tone and musical tensions with the guitar alone and the subtlety of articulation.”

The latest issue of TopGuitar magazine is available across Poland in Empik and Ruch press retail networks, in the online store (http://topguitar.pl/sklep/), and as mobile version for tablets and smartphones using iOS (http://topguitar.pl/ios/) or Android (http://topguitar.pl/android/) operating systems.
