Marshall Astoria Dual Combo electric guitar amplifier review with “Top Gear” award
TopGuitar is proud to inform, that the March issue of the magazine features a review of Marshall Astoria Dual Combo electric guitar amplifier, which has been awarded with “Top Gear” editors’ award. The equipment was delivered for review by Marshall distributor in Poland, Lauda Audio.
Below are some excerpts from a review by gear department editor Mikolaj Sluzewski, which may serve as reasons for the award:
“After years of being copied countless times by many different boutique guitar amp manufacturers, Marshall decided to remind everyone who is the real leader of electric guitar amplification market since 1960’s.”
“Astoria is a high-class amplifier, handbuilt using point-to-point wiring, designed and manufactured entirely in the Marshall factory in Bletchley, UK – and what’s the most important, designed from scratch as a completely new circuit, not being a variation or continuation of any other previous model.”
“Marshall Astoria Dual sports an extraordinary look and a unique, by all means refined sound. It aims equally at active musicians as well as hobbyists looking for something exclusive and prestigious.”
