The final round of Guitar Top 2014 contest organized by TopGuitar magazine took place on 25th of October during Music Lab music fairs in Poznan.
The contest was divided into two parts. In the first part, the contestants sent video recordings of their guitar solos performed over a given backing track. Out of 98 entries, 73 were eligible for te contest and took part in eliminations.
20 guitarists were qualified for the finals, out of which 19 came to play their solos live on stage in Poznan. They were presented in alphabetical order, starting with the letter P.

gave the following prizes and awards:
Adam Przezdziecki (grand prize: Framus Diablo Supreme electric guitar funded by Warwick)
Marcin Kopyciok (prize: Shure GLXD16 guitar wireless system funded by Polsound)
Krzysztof Węgrzyński (prize: Hughes & Kettner TubeMeister 5 valve amplifier funded by Hughes & Kettner)
Apart of main prizes, all three winners received guitar gadgets funded by Rockshop.pl
In recognition of their talent, the above mentioned contestants received high quality guitar cables funded by Mogami and Laboga.
All finalists received gift packages from TopGuitar magazine, which contained: CD’s, guitar straps, string sets etc.
The jury emphasized a high level of contestants, resulting in big number of additional awards.
The winners of first three places performed during a gala concert in front of big and enthusiastic audience. This time, they played with a live band consisting of: Mariusz Mocarski (drums), Bartek Miecznikowski (guitar) and Maciek Warda (bass guitar).
After the concert, the winners went to TopGuitar booth to take part in a photo shoot for the cover of December issue of TopGuitar magazine.
