Guild Starfire IV ST electric guitar reviewed by TopGuitar magazine
TopGuitar is proud to inform, that the December issue of the magazine features a review of Guild Starfire IV ST electric guitar. The instrument was delivered for review by Guild distributor in Poland, Audiostacja.
Below are some excerpts from a review by gear department editor Artur Chyb:
“Guild Starfire IV ST looks gorgeous and sounds fantastic – six decades of tradition resulted in a mature instrument with original soul. There must be a reason why so many famed and respected musicians have been reaching towards Guild’s luthiery work for live, studio and private use for all those years.”
“Starfire IV plays with exceptional dynamics, accordingly to the manner and articulation techniques we use. Despite having known the pickups installed in this guitar quite well, I was positively surprised by their sound, thus confirming the rule, that the tone of a pickup ultimately depends upon the guitar it sits in.”
“The Starfire IV ST, the “green-eyed devil”, may well be considered a synonym of a modern hollow-body guitar, but let’s not forget that Guild is a very experienced manufacturer with rich legacy, building instruments with only the finest inspirations – as is the case this time.”
