Martin DXMAE awarded “Top Gear”

TopGuitar is proud to announce that the DXMAE acoustic guitar from Martin had been reviewed for the November issue of the magazine and received a “Top Gear” editors’ award this month.

Below are some excerpts from a successful review by gear department editor Mikolaj Sluzewski, which may serve as reasons for the award:

“Innovative solutions which differ from what we got used to over the years always arouse some controversy. It seems, though, that Martin did the impossible by reaching to its deep tradition of guitar building and braking one of the craft’s fundamental rules at the same time.”

“Like many other manufacturers, Martin also introduces more affordable instruments to its catalog. But in this case lowering the price does not mean moving the production process overseas, nor it causes drastic drops in quality of the final product which is the guitar’s tone.”

“Resistance to unfavorable atmospheric conditions as well as the difficulties of traveling and intense usage are DXMAE’s unquestionable advantages, making it a great workhorse instrument to take on the road and play all kinds of hazy clubs and windy open-air stages.”
