The 6th edition of the songwriting workshop 'Sklejam Słowa’ is behind us!

The recent edition of the 'Sklejam Słowa’ competition, which took place in Poland, provided participants with the unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the country’s most renowned songwriters. During this edition, participants had the opportunity to work with six acclaimed songwriters – Mela Koteluk, Natalia Przybysz, Michał Wiraszko, Bisz, Hans (52 Dębiec and Luxtorpeda) and Dwoma Sławami.

Once again, ESS Audio, as a technology partner, supported the event by providing equipment for the participants to work with. JBL Professional loudspeakers from the PRX series – PRX One and PRX 908 – were used throughout the event to provide sound for the lectures, jam sessions and slam. In addition, Austrian Audio OD303 and OD505 microphones, AKG D5, C5 and C636 and AKG K240 Studio and K361 headphones were used throughout the event. During the live session recordings, Austrian Audio OD5 and OC7 were used for drum recordings.

During the workshop, participants were also able to collaborate with invited musicians – Piotr Bolanowski, Michał Bryndal, Maks Mińczykowski, Kamila Maniewska and Marcel Maniewski. The above-mentioned live sessions are recordings of the participants’ songs (but not only!), as they are performed entirely live with the aforementioned musicians. Almost 30 such sessions were recorded during this edition, which will be available on the 'Sklejam Słowa’ YouTube channel. As in the previous edition, the finale of 'Sklejam Słowa’ was a poetry and music slam, where participants were able to present their skills in the form of texts and songs they had created during the workshop and before.
