TopGuitar is proud to inform, that the August issue of the magazine features a review of the Dan Donegan Ultra electric guitar from Schecter. The instrument was delivered for review by Schecter distributor in Poland, Mega Music.

Below are some excerpts from a review by gear department editor Krzysztof Blas:

“The main purpose of this guitar is producing maximum power but also fat tone for rhythm playing. Thanks to a classic ’59 pickup we get a considerable range of sounds – from steady crunch to modern, aggressive distortion.”

“El Diablo pickup works perfectly for rhythm work, but thanks to its brilliant midrange it excels in solo parts, cutting through the mix and offering long sustain combined with superb clarity. Dan Donegan Ultra is a great sounding instrument made for hard rocking players.”

“One thing is certain – for a fair price we get a thoroughly built rock axe, beefed up with top shelf hardware. If only you like heavy sounds with a hint of old-school taste, Dan Donegan Ultra may be the right thing for you.”

The latest issue of TopGuitar magazine is available across Poland in Empik and Ruch press retail networks, in the online store (, and as mobile version for tablets and smartphones using iOS ( or Android ( operating systems.
