TopGuitar is proud to announce that the Ironheart IRT-Studio guitar amplifier from Laney had been reviewed for the October issue of the magazine and received a “Top Gear” editors’ award this month.

Below are some excerpts from a successful review by gear department editor Krzysztof Blas, which may serve as reasons for the award:

“No, it’s not just another valve head – it’s something more! Something that may be found as the Holy Grail that recording guitarists have been searching for a long time.”

“A genius solution for everyone who record guitars without using microphones and who want to hear the full power of valves in their recordings, not only the flat sound of a preamp. IRT-Studio has a great cabinet emulation that, combined with the signal coming form the power amp tubes, delivers huge sound.”

“Laney IRT-Studio is a very good amplifier offering 15 or 1 watts of power – enough for studio use but also for some smaller stage applications. Brilliant clean tones and outstanding distortions make for a really successful construction.”
