TopGuitar is proud to inform, that the April issue of the magazine features a review of the ES2 Echo Shifter guitar effects pedal from Ibanez. Below are some excerpts from a review by gear department editor Krzysztof Blas:

“A new proposition from Ibanez should attract vintage tone enthusiasts. The ES2 is a classic analog delay pedal with added DSP-based features. The whole thing looks very old-school and will definitely stand out from a pedalboard filled with effects of a modern, soulless design.”

“The ES2 is an analog delay which means that it not only repeats the sounds – it also shapes their tone. Just a short fun with ES2 leaves no doubt towards its analog descent: each and every next repeat gets more and more “organically dirty”.”

“A totally cosmic trip begins as you activate the oscillation mode. The effect starts to play by itself, so you can easily put your guitar aside and grab the slide fader to feel like a real DJ.”
