TopGuitar is proud to inform, that the April issue of the magazine features a review of the LTD PT-4 “Pancho” Tomaselli Signature Bass from ESP. Below are some excerpts from a review by gear department editor Maciek Warda:

“An intriguing bass guitar that keeps the traditional and well-known shapes, yet will surprise you in many aspects. Its design, choice of materials and sound is absolutely modern, making it a perfect selection for all kinds of heavy music – from metal slaughterhouse to melodic pop-punk.”

“The basic tone of this instrument is precise, bright yet warm, with an added fire power when compared to passive jazz-type basses. (…) Active EMG JX pickups sound quite jazz-bassy, but at the same time they have a strong punch in the lower mids, providing a strong rock kick.”

“This instrument is a powerful machine for producing bass lines. You can easily employ it in various musical genres, but in those heavier ones it will definitely excel.”
