D’ADDARIO INTRODUCES PLANET WAVES’ DURALIN PRECISION PICKS & PICK HOLDERS

D’Addario, the industry’s leading music accessory manufacturer, introduces a new selection of finger pick n’ good products from its Planet Waves line, the Duralin Precision Picks, Mic Stand Pick Holder, and Standard Pick Holder.

Duralin Precision Picks deliver strength, resilience, and resist abrasion, while providing a balanced tone with bright attack. It features a standard pick shape with a precision (sharper) tip, allowing exact articulation, perfect for the fast picking of both lead and rhythm work.

“These picks have all the great qualities of our best-selling Duralin picks, along with a precision tip (smaller radius) Tip,” says Rob Cunningham, Planet Waves Product Manager. “This new tip allows for greater articulation that glides over the strings, making fast passages easier. Great for the progressive rock and jazz players.”

Guitarists can be sure their new picks are always within reach with Planet Waves’ two new pick holders. The Mic Stand Pick Holder is 6” long and attaches to any standard microphone stand. With two channels, it holds twice the amount of picks over the competitor in the same space. The Standard Pick Holder is spring loaded and comes in a convenient size. With a hook and loop tab, it can be placed anywhere from guitars, amps, and cases.

Planet Waves Duralin Precision Picks will be available in 10-, 25-, and 100-packs, retailing for $4.49, $9.99, and $34.99 respectively. They will come in light through extra-heavy tensions and will be available July 1, 2013.

The Mic Stand Pick Holder will retail for $9.99 and the Standard Pick Holder for $4.49. These items will also be available July 1, 2013.

Every detail of performance counts, which is why D’Addario continuously dedicates itself to inspiring creativity on every level.
